All Weather Boots

I spent yesterday morning exploring a patch of National Forest and a nature preserve that a neighbor/friend had told us about.

We had the place to ourselves and could not believe how lucky we are to live so close to the wilderness.

Nisolo Amalia All Weather Boot Review

Nisolo gifted me the Amalia All Weather Boots and as soon as I received them I took them on a test run in challenging conditions even though I had chosen the stone color!

Fit / Sizing

I chose my usual size (7.5) and they fit like a glove. They are on the narrower side in my opinion so I would size up if you're planning on wearing big wool socks.

Comfort

These took no time to break in. I've walked a couple miles in them on rugged terrain and have nothing to report besides how comfortable they felt. No need to switch shoes once I came back to the car.

The studded rubber soles also make them a great boot for walks on slippery terrain.

Waterproofing

I wasn't even scared to get the boots dirty because of their waterproof suede leather. I have yet to test them in the pouring rain (Central Oregon is definitely drier than Portland) but looking at how easy to clean they were (a rag and water), I could tell that they are definitely water-resistant.

Style

I played it safe with a black jeans / brown sweater combo but I can definitely picture all-cream outfits or styling the boots with a classic pair of jeans. I recently purchased a long flowy skirt from the thrift store that I can totally picture with laced-up boots! So many possibilities!

Final thoughts

If you've been looking for a pair of boots to invest in this Black Friday or to treat you for Christmas, I highly recommend the Amalia All Weather Boots. They also exist in leather for a more urban look.
