Welcome to Day 7 of the fall 10×10 Challenge.
In case you were wondering what the 10th item of my 10x10 was, there it is! (yes, I totally lied last week when I told you that the sweater was the last one, sorry!)
I'm not a fan of outerwear, I really just consider it as a protection from the elements, and not a part of my styling decisions.
I usually have a bunch of jackets lying around in my car, and I grab one whenever I need one. But if I had to choose only one, this jacket would be it. I saved to buy it, and have been wearing it for a little more than 10 years now. I've only started taking care of it a couple years ago so it's got the right amount of patina, without totally falling apart, though I should definitely take care of a couple holes and prevent them from expanding.
My Day 7 Outfit
Proportions are key.
I thought this outfit would never make it to the blog, because, honestly, I'm not in love with it. The color combo is perfect (to me) but a loose top with loose pants, that's a big no-no for my figure.
Jacket - A leather jacket I've had since my early 20s. Similar here.
Top - Handmade by my mom. Similar here.
Pants - Lauren Winter, made in Portland, OR.
Shoes - Danner, made in Portland, OR.
3 more outfits to go. Now I'm starting to be afraid I'm no longer gonna be able to mix things up enough...
Do you also wear outfits because you feel good in them, no matter if they don't actually look good? Tell me I'm not alone!
