Today is an exciting day. I'm moving in my studio (paint job: Done!) and tonight, I'm meeting someone I met on Instagram 1 week ago! I felt that we had things in common, I'm very interested in her work, so I asked, and she said yes! Sometimes things have a way of working out!
My Day 3 Outfit
I been wearing a version of this outfit ever since I got this jumpsuit (remember this one?).
- Tee-shirt - The Bee and The Fox - Made in Mexico
- Cardigan (old) - Similar
- Jumpsuit (old) - Open Air Museum - Made in the USA (Portland, OR) - Similar
- Clogs - Sandgrens - Made in Sweden
Bag - DIY (I know I promised you a tutorial here, it's coming up!)
Earrings - Machete - Made in Canada
Every piece of this outfit is a conversation starter. A shop girl once asked me whether my tee was a reference to the Flynt Flossy song (answer: nope!). Every single person I meet asks me where I got my bag (answer: I made it myself). Same thing about my jumpsuit (answer: Shea, the talented owner of the Portland-based brand Open Air Studio, made it!).
I'm usually not a fan of message t-shirts but this one had been on my radar for long enough until I finally decided to order it. I should mention that I am not a mother (unless having raised 2 chickens counts!). I used to be an impulsive shopper but today, items can stay in my online cart for weeks before I click the purchase button.
I love this color combo and will wear this outfit over and over again.
What's your opinion on message tees? Do you have any in your wardrobe? What do they say?
