... they want their bell bottoms back

Ever since I saw the Modern Flare Jean on the Everlane website, I knew I had to get myself a pair (I recently realized that straight legs are not for me so I'm always on the hunt for wide legs).

This is my first Everlane denim purchase so I had no idea about sizing and was afraid these to be too tight (I ordered a 27), but they are actually quite stretchy and fit perfectly!

They are super comfortable, even after working all day long sitting at my desk.

I'm not sure about how to style them yet (I received them two days ago and have worn them with both the Soft Cotton Square Crew and here with the Cotton Turtleneck.

I'm a big fan of the front tuck which shows the perfect 11" rise and make my legs look longer than they are.

Shoes wise, I went with the only pair of high-heeled shoes I own, my trusted Sandgrens Clog Boots (also styled here)

Now for the jacket. The story is short, I saw it online, I ordered it while I was still in France so I knew it would be waiting for me in Portland when I got there. And oh boy I'm glad I did, I've had it for 2 weeks and have been wearing it every single day, both at home and outside.

Again, I had no idea about sizing and went for a small as I tend to order things that are too big for me, but I got concerned when I saw that Andrea had ordered a medium.

But it ended up working great for me. It's the perfect thickness to layer underneath a big (rain)coat but also on top of big sweaters.

But the thing I like the most is the huge pockets! No need for a tote, I can put my phone, my car case and even a book in them. Pockets are so liberating!!!
