Back in March, my friend Alba, of Absence Studio, offered on Instagram to deliver aMYLK to 6 lucky Portlanders.
I immediately messaged her, convinced I was too late, but I lucked out and she came over a couple days later to drop off 2 bottles of Porland's favorite plant-based mylk.
It turns out that I had gotten myself a bouquet of flowers from my talented florist friend Britlyn a couple days before so, on an overcast morning, I took my camera out, and snapped a couple pics of this colorful Portland and women-made scenery.
Once the photoshoot was done I waited a couple more hours for the weather to warm up and finally poured myseld a tall glass of matcha mylk which I sipped on my afternoon walk with my metal straw.

I switched to oat milk a while ago but really enjoyed trying the ice-cold lavender and the matcha almond milks - it was a very welcome treat as we were all trying to adjust to the "shelter in place" lifestyle.
Small businesses such as aMYLK and Britlyn Simone Florals have been struggling so much over the past couple months! If you can, shop local, shop small and tell these wonderful people how much you care about their hard work.
This post is not sponsored. The products were gifted to me by Absence Studio.
