I like to keep things minimal when I leave the house. I keep my essentials in a mesh bag so that I can easily switch from one bag to another.
Here's what I keep in my bag at all times:
Glasses/Sunglasses - I have astigmatism and myopia, I can't live without them.
Phone - Never not by my side.
Keys - No trinkets, I tried, but never found them useful. They're just too bulky.
Aromatherapeutic Spray - Currently containing lavender essential oil.
Lip Balm - Given to me by a dear friend.
Pen/Stylus - Because I love multifunctional items and have so much much handwriting stuff on my phone!
Credit Card Wallet - Swiss quality. Minimal. Here's a thorough list of the cards it contains: Drivers license, insurance card, AAA card, debit and credit card. Did I ever mention I despise loyalty cards? I keep them in a separate mesh pouch which lives in my car.
Mesh Bag - For cash (who uses cash any more) and business cards). This is a recent addition. I used to only put a couple business cards and a bank note in my card holder, but the business cards would get ruined pretty quickly.
What about you, what do you always keep in your bag?
When my last phone cover broke in an unfortunate incident, I took it as an opportunity to finally get a compostable case!
I love this sleek and minimal case so much that when Pela Case contacted me a couple weeks later, I asked whether they'd be willing to give you guys a chance to win a case. And they were in!
So, if you (still) have an iPhone 6, 6s or 7 (ah, don't get me started on programmed obsolescence), head over to the "What's in my bag" picture on my Instagram for all the details!
Good luck to you!
