Happy Monday!
How are you all holding up? I hope you and your loved ones are safe. Octave and I have been social distancing for a week and so far, thanks to beautiful weather in Portland, it's been going smoothly. Let's see how's this week's gonna be with rainier weather and a looming stay-at-home order.
I try to be really mindful about the amount of time I spend reading the news and scrolling on social media, but here are a couple links that drew my attention:
-
This heating pad is all I need right now (I got it for Octave for Christmas, but really, it might have been a gift to myself...)
-
An undepressing newsletter about how to fight climate change by the author of the above drawing.
-
Portland is getting creative during social distancing times: A birthday parade and Boober Eats.
-
My friend Esther recommended I download this app and we've been video chatting and playing games with friends who either live a couple blocks away or on the other side of the planet ever since.
-
This map from the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center!
-
Another French song about climate change.
-
Hashtags #sewcialdistancing and #isolationcreation warm my heart! Reminder: It's totally OK not to be productive or creative during these trying times.
-
My favorite yoga channel to calm my mind and release blocks in my body during this stressful period.

How are things going for you? What measures have been taken where you live to prevent the spread of coronavirus? How have you been keeping yourself busy?
