The stress of moving, the lack of sleep, and a new (to me) sunny and windy climate have taken their toll on my skin.
So when Blendily offered to send me products to test, I jumped on the opportunity to start a new skincare routine in my new home.
I've known Blendily owner Ivy Chuang's work for a couple years now - first reaching out to her by slipping a note through the door of the tiny shop she used to have on Alberta.
We eventually met up at her new light-filled shop and she also generously hosted one of my Zero Waste PDX gatherings.
Blendily's philosophy is simple: fresh, locally grown & gathered herbs & flowers blended with exotic botanicals and stored in reusable and recyclable containers.
I chose the Hello Sunshine Daytime Moisturizer to nourish and protect my skin from the sun (in conjunction with sunblock) and the Lip Lemonade as I constantly suffer from dry lips (I try really hard to drink more water too).
I was surprised by the aerated (almost foam-like) texture of the face moisturizer. It makes it super easy to blend on your skin.
As for the lip balm, what can I say, except that the container is now almost empty ;)
