When was the last time you checked your town's recycling rules? Have you ever checked them?

I share trash, recycling, and yard debris bins with 3 of my neighbors and have noticed some form of contamination in our recycling bins lately.

So, I took matters into my own hands and decided to do something about it.

First, I checked my local recycling rules.

Then, I printed and laminated them.

After that, I attached them to the appropriate bins.

And finally, I distributed them to my neighbors with a personal note.

I don't plan on being the trash police, but my mind is now at ease, as everyone has the information and can act accordingly... or not! Their call!
