I hope you had a wonderful weekend and you're ready to tackle a new week. Mine is an exciting one since I signed a lease for a studio and spent the past couple days repainting it and dreaming about how I'm gonna make it my own.
My Day 1 Outfit
This first outfit of my winter 10x10 challenge would not have seen the light of day without Octave. He's the one who conspired with some of my friends to get me my first camera bag 5 years ago. He's the one who got me this cute pair of socks last Christmas. And he's the one who designed this hat!

Style Notes
I almost wish I did not include outerwear in my 10 items, that way I could have had more options. I am not 100% comfortable with the leggings without a long top combo and might have been hiding behind my bag a little too much.
But I do love the leggings + boots combo. Anything that gives me height makes me feel confident (as long as the heel is stable). I got these boots last year and have pretty much worn them on a daily basis ever since. They're easy to put on with their zipper (though I wish all my shoes were slip-ons) and they are ultra comfortable (once you have the right size - I had to go one size down)
I have a weird relationship with this jacket. I was given to me in exchange for an article on the brand's website. While I've always wanted a denim and shearling jacket, I am not a fan of the inscription on the back (I'll show it to you in an upcoming look). I've tried playing the game by adding tons of pins and patches last year to finally remove all the patches and keeping only a couple pins. I'm still not totally satisfied and might part with it but I have to admit that it is an easy piece to wear (and style).
